Job Summary:

The APAC Sales Director is responsible for leading sales teams to achieve the company's revenue, growth, and market penetration goals in the Asia Pacific region. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing international teams, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management, a deep understanding of Asia Pacific market, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team alignment with strategic goals.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities, customer

needs, and competitive landscape.

Sales Management:

Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs, and ensure their achievement through effective planning, monitoring, and performance management.

Drive revenue growth through the identification and acquisition of new customers, as well as the retention and expansion of existing accounts.

Oversee the development of effective sales processes, tools, and techniques to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.

Operational interaction with distributors and partners to assure a commercial coverage all over Asia Pacific territory. Choosing, contracting, and developing distributors activity is key.

Other:

Contribute in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and public relations.

Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.

Contribute to market and competitive intelligence.

Qualification for the iob

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree (Master degree/diploma /PhD preferred) or relevant equivalent education/degree.

Graduation/Qualification in Business, Food Sciences & Biotech preferred.

Experience:

Previous work experience in a similar position preferred.

Previous experience in international marketing preferred.

Prior experience with diagnostics reagents, hardware and software preferred.

Existing network of distributors all over the Asia Pacific region

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

Sales Management

Proficient in Microsoft MS-Office

Effective communication and analytical skills required.

Strong business planning and organization skills

Must work effectively with others (team-player), capable to align different stakeholders and teams and to drive projects.

Ability to interact with many different functional areas and different levels within and outside of the organization on a professional base.

Ability to define/carry out priorities and execute plans (get things done)

Travel up to 60%

General laboratory knowledge (use of equipment; pipetting; personal safety; general lab practices)

Technical knowledge of diagnostic methods, devices, and reagents

Ability to clearly communicate technical information with customers, distributors and co­ workers.

Ability to learn new & existing methods, instruments, and software.

Language skills: English, additional

Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, and legal documents.

Write reports, and business correspondence.
