  • Plan, organize and carried out project management activities to ensure that assigned projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner to achieve and exceed the cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives;
  • Ensure that safety procedures are incorporated in all project management activities and takes initiatives to promote a safety working culture;
  • Review contract documentation in conjunction with B.Q. and material specifications;
  • Manage the profit and loss of the project;
  • Plan for site mobilization and work sequential execution;
  • Prepare works schedules and master programs; Ensures that progress and other reports are put up in a timely manner as required;
  • Monitor project cost budgets and ensures that desired profit margins are achieved through cost containment, material wastage control, etc;
  • Ensure project performance through close supervision, site checks, close monitoring of site progress and swift resolution of any quality and work schedule issues;
  • Ensure that shop drawings are completed and submissions to the authorities are carried out in a timely manner with Drafting Department;
  • Attend/Chair project kick-off meetings, daily meetings and project closure meetings with clients, consultants and other parties;
  • Update and summarizes all project development performance in monthly management meetings;
  • Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors on contractual matters;
  • Ensures timely response to consultants’ and all other requests in a pro-active and timely manner;
  • Provides effective leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring and motivating on an ongoing basis and ensuring that good team work and esprit-de-corps exist in the Project team;
  • Ensures that all project documentation are maintained effectively including email communication;
  • Sets key performance indicators for project team members, tracking, monitoring and assessing their performance on an ongoing basis;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.
