Prudential plc unveiled a new strategy in August 2023 – “Next Prudential”. It is centered around three strategic pillars: 1) enhancing customer experiences 2) powering distribution with technology and 3) transforming the health business model. The role of the central Health Team is to set the health strategy for Prudential as a whole and ensure alignment of the local business unit health strategies to this Group strategy. The team will also provide hands-on support to the LBUs as they execute on the agreed strategy and build the required health capabilities both centrally and in-market.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Health Strategy & Propositions, the Manager, Health Strategy role is an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming strategy specialist to accelerate Prudential’s health strategy by driving and executing market sizing, customer insights and segmentation and driving health initiatives with the local business units.
The ideal candidate might come from a consulting or in-house background, but regardless will bring strong strategic thinking abilities, financial savvy, a passion for health and the intellectual curiosity to solve difficult problems.
A day in the life
This role suits a high-performing strategist who is just as at home rolling up their sleeves designing and running an execution workshop in Indonesia to get a project over the line as they are partnering with a CEO to build an important deck for an upcoming board meeting.
