- Strategic: Set objectives for Technology Development Singapore Dry Etch Process & Equipment team to ensure quality, effectiveness, and productivity to meet TD goals. Responsible for planning, executing and delivering results in meeting TD goals.
- Innovation: Drive innovation and lead breakthrough process and equipment solutions to meet the needs of the technology as well as build and develop on ideas originating from F4. - Process development: To identify disruptive equipment and processes early on and work with manufacturing and Boise TD to identify viable path forward. To participate, engage and drive technology transfer activities, pilot line ramp and gates initiatives.
- Collaboration: Be the de-facto TD Dry Etch Sgp representative, serving as the bridge between F4 and F10, understanding bottlenecks in productivity and technology across sites.
- People: Hire, develop, mentor and lead team of Dry Etch engineers to form a highly technically competent team, proficient in model-based problem solving. Promote growth and winning mindset across larger organization.
- Provides guidance to the TD PD leadership and advises managers and supervisors on issues related to Dry Etch. Establishes plans, manages projects and ensure execution of operational directives to meet strategic objectives.
- Resources management: Manage resources available via direct reports and indirect reports. Ability to extend reach and utilize resources across modules and department effectively.
- Communication: An excellent communicator (verbal and written) and excel in communicating overall strategy in Manufacturing and TD.
- Safety: Encourage and enforce safe, compliant behavior through periodic communications and the performance management process.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in Process Development.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor/Masters/PhD in related Engineering fields.
- Ability to develop strong holistic understanding of NAND TD technologies in depth (Dry Etch) and breadth (Integration).
- Strong ability and skills to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve challenging goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills for smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams, and for managing team members in Matrix Organization.
- Listens to customer feedback, recognizes technology improvement opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovation.
- Solid communication skills for cross department alignment and providing clarity to leadership and executive teams.
- Familiar with both TD and manufacturing environment & transfer procedures.
- Highly motivated and adaptable to our demanding, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment; flexibility to work for extended hours, as required.
