Job Description

Boarding Officer Duties:

  • Coordinate and report to Office/MSW/PT/PSA as per vessel schedules.

  • Deliver documents (Delivery Notes, Certificates) and cargo to vessels.

  • Liaise with ship officers to verify and acknowledge goods received on board.

  • Submit acknowledged delivery documents to Ops Admin within 48 hours.

  • Handle cash collections and submit them to finance within 24 hours.

  • Manage return items by coordinating with warehouse staff and ensuring proper labeling and condition.

  • Comply with safety protocols by wearing necessary PPE (e.g., safety helmet, working clothes, safety shoes, lifejacket).

Driver Duties:

  • Support daily logistics operations by delivering products promptly to customers.

  • Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo.

  • Handle ship spares inward/outward, ensuring proper record-keeping.

  • Communicate delivery delays promptly to the Operations Department.

  • Adhere strictly to road regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

  • PSLE, Secondary, or GCE 'N' Level (or equivalent).

  • At least 1 year of marine industry experience (Boarding Officer duties); 3–5 years of driving experience (Driver duties).

  • Class 3 & 4 Driving License, Forklift License (preferred).

  • Familiarity with MS Office.

  • Strong problem-solving, operational analysis, and execution skills.

  • Effective communication in English and a second language.

  • Disciplined, honest, and committed to safety standards.

  • Willingness to work under pressure, during odd hours, weekends, and public holidays.
