The Commis (Pastry) ensures efficient pastry preparation and presentation, adhering to menu standards and food safety protocols in accordance with the Hotel's Food & Hygiene Standards.



Our Expectations:

Ensure that foods are prepared, cooked and presented according to the menu, recipe and according to the Hotel Safe Food & Hygiene Standards.
Take responsibility for a high standard of cleanliness of the food preparation and storage areas eg dry store, cool room & common kitchen areas.
Ensure that all food production for the various outlets is timely and appropriate.
Observe and guarantee adherence to food safety protocols and guidelines, encompassing personal hygiene protocols.
Verify that food and kitchen appliances are at the proper temperature and notify management of any problems.
Throughout your shift, keep an eye on the caliber of the food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
