The Guest Service Ambassador plays a primary role in ensuring a positive arrival and departure experience for all guests. Reception tasks and duties includes checking in and out and providing assistance to guests.
Our Expectations:
Provide an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in, check-out
Demonstrate an updated knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, surrounding events and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
Use the correct procedure regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance to hotel credit policy.
Process guest credit at check-in and check-out in accordance with the hotel’s policy.
Identify and record special billing instructions and act accordingly.
Ensure that the Guest Service Team Leader on duty are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments.
Communicate any special requests by guests to the appropriate department.
Communicate any positive and negative guest comments to the Guest Services Team Leader or Duty Manager.
Inform the Guest Service Team Leader, Duty Manager and concerned departments about any potential credit risks.
Report all incidents regarding Health & Safety, injury or damage to the Guest Service Team Leader, Duty Manager and Security Manager in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the safety of all guests at all times.
We are looking for a self-motivated Guest Service Ambassador with the ability to anticipate the needs of the guest with excellent communication skills. If you have at least one year of related experience in a hospitality environment, write in to have a chat with us!
