Job Title: Electrical & ACMV Technician

Department: Facilities Management / Maintenance

Reports To: Facilities Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose: To perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical systems (ACMV) to ensure optimal performance and safety of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems:

  • Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed and materials used.

ACMV Systems:

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform diagnostics to identify issues in ACMV systems and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
  • Replace or repair faulty components, including compressors, filters, and ductwork.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ACMV codes and safety regulations.
  • General Duties:
  • Respond to service requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical and ACMV technologies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Technical Cert in electrical or ACMV Trained.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduate with Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical and ACMV systems.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and ACMV standards.
  • Ability to operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Certifications:

  • Relevant electrical or ACMV certification (e.g., Electrical License, HVAC Certification) preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with potential for overtime or on-call hours as needed.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
  • May involve working in confined spaces and exposure to electrical hazards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per month
