Job Description

As part of the Jetstar Asia's Network Operations team, you are responsible for flight watch duties; ensuring relevant information is transmitted to crew via suitable means and follow up in absence of acknowledgement from crew; coordinate with dispatch service provider and act as medium between flight dispatch and the pilot for operational support.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensure flights are crewed efficiently daily,
  • Ensure crew rosters are repaired following any disruptions to daily operations
  • Implement disruption management actions to maintain schedule and recover from disruption,
  • Promptly answer all phone queries addressed to the Operations Centre.
  • Liaise and negotiate with engineering service provider during disruptions to ensure aircraft recovery and maintenance requirements are met and retained.
  • Coordinate with various GHA and track all departures, arrivals. In event of delay, disruption, technical or diversion scenario take corrective action and/or escalate to next level as appropriate,
  • Upkeep and provision of necessary documentation required for flights
  • Archive post flight documents and provide support during inspections and audits as prescribed by the state regulator,
  • Collate and distribute Daily Operations Report.
  • Filing APP, CTA for crew at the required ports.
  • Continuously review and suggest improvements to Operations Control procedures and processes.


To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills & experiences:

  • Diploma, at least 2 years of relevant experience,
  • Accredited Flight Dispatch Training qualification,
  • Flight dispatch / flight planning experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish sound working relationships with all levels of organization,
  • Strong team player with a commitment to safety.
