Senior Consultant
HYBRID SINGAPORE
SALARY: £50-£55,000 GBP

About the Role
The Senior Higher Education Consultant will work closely with other members of the consultancy team (as well as other teams across THE), the successful candidate will be responsible for management of a wide range of project work, delivering analysis and strategic advice to universities, governments and organisations around the world.
The candidate should have professional experience in higher education and/or a market research agency/consulting role. You should be comfortable with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, with strong reporting skills, including an eye for data visualisation. You’ll need to be used to a fast-paced environment, working independently and creatively within a hard-working team. The role includes the potential for international travel so the candidate should ideally be comfortable with in-person meetings and presentations.
The role also actively supports the commercial sales team if they identify possible product development or business development opportunities. Progression in time would involve contribution on the speaking circuit, specialization in areas of interest and/or product development.
What you will need:
- Track record of complex project management and successful delivery of research projects, ideally involving use of several data sources.
- Experience in research design
- Demonstrated success in presenting complex data clearly and accurately in both verbal and written formats, with a keen eye for data visualisation in creating presentation slides
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various internal stakeholders and external clients (including senior stakeholders from academia, government and industry)
- Comfort in public speaking situations including conducting roundtable discussions, sitting in panels and representing THE at relevant external conferences
- Confident and independent self-starter who is able to hit the ground running; comfortable working within teams as well as being able to work effectively autonomously, managing a challenging workload
- Ability to work to agreed deadlines, working well under pressure, with excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage and prioritise own workload
- Critical thinking skills with strengths in qualitative or quantitative data collection and analysis
- Passionate about the role of higher education
- Willing to work irregular hours and travel internationally
