Job Summary
Are you passionate about fashion, design, and sewing? We are looking for creative and dedicated Freelance Fashion Design and Sewing Instructors to join our team! This role is perfect for graduates, students, or anyone interested in earning extra income while teaching children aged 3-15 the art of fashion design and sewing. Previous experience in fashion design and sewing is a plus, but not required – training will be provided! We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging fashion design and sewing classes: Follow and deliver lesson plans for fashion design, including sketching, pattern making, sewing techniques, and fabric selection, to students in regular classes, workshops, and camps.
  • Ensure smooth class operations: Facilitate an organized, professional, and inspiring environment that encourages creativity, hands-on participation, and skill development in sewing.
  • Monitor student progress: Provide constructive feedback, encourage students' design and sewing skills, and help them explore their creative potential.
  • Address parent queries: Respond to feedback and questions from parents in a timely, professional manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow instructors and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive learning experience for all students.
  • Promote the organization: Contribute to the promotion and development of the company's activities in alignment with our vision and mission.

Key Requirements

  • Interest in fashion design and sewing: A passion for fashion and sewing, and teaching children the basics of design, sketching, and sewing techniques.
  • Teaching experience: Previous experience in teaching children is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication: Ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Responsibility and professionalism: Punctuality, proper class preparation, and a professional approach to teaching.
  • Organized and creative: Ability to manage class materials, equipment, and create an engaging, creative learning environment.
  • Commitment: Must be willing to commit to a minimum term of 6 months.

Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred but not required)

  • Experience in fashion design, sewing, or related fields.
  • Previous experience working with children (ages 3-15).
  • A strong interest in learning and teaching new fashion design and sewing techniques.

Training
Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates without prior experience in fashion design or sewing, ensuring you are equipped to teach and inspire students confidently.
