Deputy Head

The Deputy Head reports to the Executive Head and support him in the following: -

  • Oversee the strategic direction, design, and management of key community-focused programmes, ensuring they align with the charity’s mission, objectives, and long-term sustainability goals.
  • Drive continuous improvements to organisational structure, processes, and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact, supporting the charity's strategic priorities.
  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, cultivating a collaborative, results-driven culture. Support staff growth, ensuring that the charity’s programmes are delivered with excellence and that teams are equipped to meet evolving needs.
  • Act as liaison for key external stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, corporate partners, and community groups. Foster strong relationships, ensuring alignment of interests and strategic partnerships that enhance the charity's visibility and impact.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of detailed reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership, and other key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and ensuring accountability.
  • Ensure the charity complies with all relevant regulations, reporting requirements, and governance standards, maintaining high levels of transparency, accountability, and integrity in all operational and financial matters.

Requirements: -

  • Relevant qualification in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in program management and community engagement, with a focus on ageing-related initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience in non-profit operations, preferably in the community care.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and volunteers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision and mission into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
