Job Description

This role is a key position, accountable to prioritize, and lead key strategic initiatives to support Human Health, Asia Pacific region. The role works closely with Asia Pacific Leadership team, local country management and their teams to understand their strategic objectives in all aspects of commercial strategy realization in the region, in alignment with the Global and Human Health International strategies.

The role will report to the AP Regional President.


What You Will Do

  • Working with the President to plan and direct focus by evaluating opportunities and determining fit with priorities.

  • Ensure the President is adequately prepared for all internal and external engagements by working with the relevant subject matter experts within the organization.

  • Coordinate market visits, stakeholder engagements and key leadership meetings including agenda planning, meeting coordination, and documentation of actions plans with follow through,

  • Monitor information flow to the President and ensure that her involvement in a project or decision-making process takes place at the right moment.

  • Collaborate closely with the AP Leadership Team, headquarters, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that all business-critical connections are made and issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.

  • Proactively identify and execute projects of strategic importance to the AP region, including those related to the region’s growth aspirations and organizational development.

  • Act as a change agent by overseeing management and coordination of key initiatives and efforts across markets, divisions, and functions in AP.

  • Collaborate with the Communications teams to ensure that all internal and external messages reflect the President’s perspectives and are appropriate for the given audience.

  • Coordinate financial forecasts and profit plans with the Finance teams.

  • Develop appropriate content and materials for town halls, Listening Circles, Coffee Chats, HQ visits, and other engagements involving the President.

  • Act as a representative of the President and the AP region on working groups and task forces identified by the President.


WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is desirable.

  • Proven track record of successful project management and execution, with a capability to create order and simplicity out of complex situations.

  • Ability to get things done via non-hierarchical influence.

  • Strong desire to contribute toward the realization of our company’s goals.

  • Be comfortable with working with a diverse and rapidly changing workload, delivering projects across several teams and timelines, and within a matrix structure.

  • Willing to speak up, be open-minded, and appropriately challenge the status quo.

  • Intellectual curiosity, used to keep up with industry and business trends.

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
