Senior Assistant Manager, Student Development and Integration

Promoting students’ personal growth through co-curricular learning arising from student-led activities, leadership development initiatives, residential hall programmes, inclusion and integration efforts, community engagement initiatives and sports.
Facilitating meaningful engagement among key stakeholders within and outside of the NTU community.
The candidate will serve as an educator to facilitate the advancement of student development and co-curricular learning by engaging with student leaders and members. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote collaboration and integration within the University community.
Key responsibilities
1) Student Governing Bodies/Organisations
Oversee student organisations and their sub-clubs.
Independently evaluating the relevance, inclusiveness, and effectiveness of their activities and events, and providing coaching to student leaders on program implementation.
Facilitate effective collaboration among clubs and with other university offices and external partners to achieve desired learning outcomes.
Promote initiatives that enhance intercultural competence.
Assess potential risks associated with activities, including the possible consequences for students' learning experiences, and provide appropriate advice.
Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including funding and facilities.
2) Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote collaboration and integration.
Lead facilitator for NTU-wide student-led events such as Interfaith, Iftar and Festival of Lights.
Orchestrate successful inter-club and inter-office collaboration.
Liaise with NTU and external partners on integration activities.
3) Management reporting
Supervise the data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports to regulators and NTU senior management.
Requirements
A degree from a recognised university with at least 5 years of work experience.
Relevant experience working with students, particularly in the higher education sector, is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills (both written and verbal), especially in collaborating with university students and colleagues from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.
Effective collaborator with excellent people skills across all organizational levels.
Enthusiastic about mentoring students.
