Mission of the Position

We are looking for passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator who love working with young children and using creativity in their teaching. Our mission is to help children learn and grow through the power of music. We believe that music can improve many skills, from thinking and learning to building confidence and creativity.

In this role, you’ll receive full training on musical concepts and teaching techniques to make your lessons fun and effective. If you love music or have a background in it, this position will be a great fit for you. We’re here to support you every step of the way as you help children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Magical Moments: Lead fun and engaging classes for our little learners, ages 2-4, making every lesson a joyful adventure in music and creativity.
  • Teach with Passion: Deliver high-quality lessons that follow the Aureus curriculum, sparking a love for music in young hearts.
  • Plan Playful Lessons: Put your creativity to work by crafting exciting lesson plans that keep our young students excited and eager to learn.
  • Stay Connected: Keep parents in the loop with friendly updates on their child’s progress before and after each lesson, building strong connections with families.
  • Host Fun Events: Organize exciting activities like recitals, music camps, and exploration sessions that bring children and their families together for unforgettable experiences.
  • Grow with Us: Be a part of our school’s growth by joining in on events, roadshows, and other exciting initiatives that spread the joy of music education.
  • Track Progress Playfully: Keep detailed progress records and share them with parents in a fun and positive way to celebrate each child's achievements.
  • Inspire Creativity: Create a warm, supportive environment where young children feel free to express themselves and explore their creativity.
  • Learn & Grow: Participate in all Aureus teacher training programs and professional development opportunities, staying ahead of the curve in early childhood education.
  • Be a Role Model: Support the school’s mission and values, setting an example of professionalism and ethics while bringing your unique personality into the classroom.
    • A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Arts, or a related field is a great starting point.
    • Experience working with children (2-3 years) is a plus!
    • A passion for working with young children and helping them grow and develop is essential.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.
    • We’re looking for a positive, outgoing team player!
    • Some basic knowledge of music theory or experience in music performance (equivalent to Grade 1-3 ABRSM) would be an advantage.
    • Willingness to complete our Training Programme to confidently teach the Aureus Music curriculum to young students.
