Job Summary
Are you passionate about technology and education? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Freelance Robotic & Coding Trainers to join our team! This role is ideal for graduates, students, or anyone interested in earning extra income while sharing their love for coding with children aged 3-15. No prior coding experience? No problem! We provide training, but a background in computer science or coding is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classes: Follow and deliver lesson plans for robotics and coding (Scratch & Python) to students in regular classes, workshops, and camps.
- Maintain smooth class operations: Ensure classes are executed professionally and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Monitor student progress: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and propose strategies to help students succeed.
- Address parent queries: Respond to feedback and queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow trainers and staff to ensure smooth operations and an effective learning environment.
- Promote the organization: Help in promoting and developing the company's activities and align with the organization's vision and mission.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge in coding languages - Scratch & Python: Basic understanding of platforms such as code combat, scratch, minecraft education, NXT Mindstorms, WeDo 2.0 etc.
- Teaching experience: Prior experience in teaching children is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Passion for teaching: Must be passionate about working with children and inspiring them to explore robotics and coding.
- Strong communication: Ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and team members.
- Responsibility and professionalism: Punctuality, class preparation, and professionalism are key to success in this role.
- Organized and tech-savvy: Ensure smooth operations by managing class materials, uploading photos/videos, and providing timely evaluations.
- Commitment: Must be willing to commit to a minimum term of 6 months.
Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred but not required)
- Background in computer science or related field.
- Previous experience working with children (ages 3-15).
- A keen interest in learning and teaching new technology concepts.
Training: We provide training for candidates without coding experience, ensuring you are equipped to teach our curriculums with confidence.
