You will lead and manage community service programs, build strategic partnerships with stakeholders, oversee fundraising and member engagement, and manage the division’s budget. You will ensure program policies are effectively implemented, delivering impactful services to beneficiaries while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
The Challengers
Programs
- Develop strategies to enhance community engagement and foster partnerships with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with organizations, partners, sponsors, and grassroots groups for collaboration.
- Align programs with evolving community needs through strategic analysis and effective implementation.
- Oversee budgets, allocate resources, and evaluate program outcomes.
- Approve beneficiary assistance, ensuring adherence to performance standards and guidelines.
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
- Collaborate on fundraising plans, including events (e.g., flag days, carnivals, charity dinners) and online campaigns.
- Manage donor and partner relationships to secure sponsorships.
Volunteer Management
- Develop and oversee strategies for volunteer recruitment, training, engagement, and retention.
Management & Leadership
- Prepare and manage program budgets, reports, and provide secretariat support to committees and the board.
- Represent the organization in engagements with authorities, agencies, and the public.
- Lead and manage community outreach staff and volunteers.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in social services sector or non-profit organisation, community outreach, partnership building, fundraising, or programme development.
- Strong track record in delivering community impact and in engaging with community work or in working with beneficiaries from vulnerable backgrounds.
- Prior experience in leadership position, managing teams of programme executives.
- Prior experience in managing databases to track impact and results: membership database, volunteer management database, donors database.
