Job Summary
Are you passionate about 3D printing and education? We are looking for creative and dedicated Freelance 3D Printing Instructors to join our team! This role is perfect for graduates, students, or anyone interested in earning extra income while teaching children aged 3-15 the art and science of 3D printing. Previous experience in 3D printing or related technologies is a plus, but not required – training will be provided! We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum term of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 3D printing classes: Follow and deliver lesson plans on 3D printing, including designing models using Tinkercad, operating 3D printers, and creating 3D objects using 3D Doodle pens. Teach students how to prepare files for printing and post-process their creations in regular classes, workshops, and camps.
- Ensure smooth class operations: Create an organized, professional, and inspiring environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning in 3D design and printing.
- Monitor student progress: Provide constructive feedback, encourage students’ design skills, and help them explore their creativity through 3D printing projects.
- Address parent queries: Respond to feedback and questions from parents in a timely, professional manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow instructors and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive learning experience for all students.
- Promote the organization: Contribute to the promotion and development of the company's activities in alignment with our vision and mission.
Key Requirements
- Interest in 3D printing and design: A passion for 3D printing technology, and teaching children the basics of 3D design, modeling, and printing.
- Teaching experience: Previous experience in teaching children is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong communication: Ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Responsibility and professionalism: Punctuality, proper class preparation, and a professional approach to teaching.
- Organized and creative: Ability to manage class materials, 3D printing equipment, and create an engaging, fun learning environment.
- Commitment: Must be willing to commit to a minimum term of 6 months.
Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred but not required)
- Experience in 3D printing, Tinkercad, 3D Doodle pens, or related fields.
- Previous experience working with children (ages 3-15).
- A strong interest in learning and teaching new 3D printing techniques.
- Familiarity with 3D printers, 3D modeling software (especially Tinkercad), 3D Doodle pens, and post-processing techniques is a plus.
Training
Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates without prior experience in 3D printing, ensuring you are equipped to teach and inspire students confidently.
