Education required: Undergraduates studying Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited university, from disciplines including Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science and Analytics or any other relevant courses
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship & doing a full-time credit bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period: July to December 2025

What will you do?
As a Software Engineer Intern at GSK, you will play a pivotal role in the development of an in-house data science platform. This platform translates complex pharmaceutical manufacturing data into actionable insights, enabling us to diagnose issues and identify opportunities for process optimisation. You will collaborate closely with our development team and users to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and test scalable software applications and microservices
Work with CI/CD pipelines and support the implementation of integration and interface testing to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
Document code and use case processes
Assist in troubleshooting and codebase maintenance as necessary
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve software development processes and platform functionalities

What are we looking for?
Experience in SQL, at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash) and at least one compiled language (e.g. C, Go). We’d love to hear about any project experience you have!
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English
Strong analytical skills and a knack for troubleshooting and creative problem-solving
Above all, a curious mindset and an eagerness to learn - both independently and collaboratively
