Responsibilities:
- Generate spare parts list for the equipment, reliability for critical spares, work with IT department to transfer the list into BOM list, ensure physical and SAP system count are tally.
- Drive and lead the spare parts management process with contractor resources.
- Knowledge of SAP for scheduling maintenance work activities.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the work task to be planned, scheduled and performed.
- Coordinate and engage operations to ensure all job requests are clear & concise and maintenance work orders are prioritized.
- Carry out site checks & planning of work orders end to end process, maintenance activities into tasks with resources, parts/material, craft/manpower and sequences for optimal work execution.
- Planning of work orders issue to the relevant engineers/contractors for execution.
- Compliant with EHS standards and accountable for all assigned activities.
- Support the project in pre and commissioning activities such as verifying site check and witness commissioning activities.
- Responsible for material procurement and availability prior to execution of all maintenance works.
- Create and maintain EHS, corrective maintenance activities.
- Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule and update the equipment plans accordingly.
- Accountable for ensuring that preventive/corrective maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
- Initiate EHS plans/job safety analysis for the planned work orders to ensure safe execution of work.
- Ensure maintenance plans are scheduled accordingly and executed before their due dates.
- Accountable to ensure no overdue of all prevention/correction work including the necessary materials procure and availability.
- Assist in budget planning based on past years cost trending and provide inputs to improve contract strategy.
- Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements.
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management System in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma or equivalent preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5-10 years relevant field experience as Plant Engineer preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
- Experienced in chemical process plant preferred.
- Prior relevant knowledge in EHS, Risk Management, Plant Operations, Reliability, Process Technology, MOC Management, Budgeting and RCA
- Strong communication and written skills
- Prior work experience using SAP system is preferred.
