Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bakery Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the displaying of baked goods, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Ensure product displays are clean, well-stocked, and appealing.
Handle the POS system and payment accurately.
Assist with packing and labeling baked goods.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing surfaces, and sweeping and mopping floors.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering questions.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the baker of any shortages or discrepancies.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and handling food in a safe and hygienic manner.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and skills:
Prior experience in Retail/ F&B or in a Bakery setting will be an added advantage.
No experience applicants are also welcome to apply (as training will be provided).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
