About the Role
We offer two internship commitment periods: March to July and July to December. You can select the one that fits your academic or personal schedule. As a Marketing And Business Development Intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Sales and Communication in engaging our employees and stakeholders through our digital channels and marketing events. This position provides you with a unique opportunity to gain exposure to SEO learning, Website designing and understanding backend marketing.
As part of the internship, you will acquire marketing skills and technical knowledge of various strategies to prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:
• Work closely with designers to maintain our website
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
• Measure, analyse and report the results of marketing initiatives, social media and website.
SEO Learning:
• Learn and apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to enhance the visibility of our content.
• Stay updated on SEO best practices and trends to contribute to the overall improvement of our online presence.
Website Design:
• Take ownership of the design process for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the web reflects current IT solutions, is user-friendly, and effectively supports client demonstrations.
Content Creation:
• Write engaging and informative articles for clients, focusing on diverse topics related to our products and services.
• Develop content that aligns with marketing strategies and effectively communicates the value proposition to the target audience.
Ad-hoc Tasks:
• Assist in various marketing and eCommerce-related tasks as needed.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team.
Optional: Coding Knowledge
• Apply coding skills to enhance the functionality and appearance of web designing
• Collaborate with developers and contribute to the technical aspects of the online platform.
Optional: Sales and Client Relations
• If the right aptitude is demonstrated, there is an opportunity to take on client relations and sales responsibilities.
• Engage with clients, understand their needs, and assist in proposing suitable IT solutions.
• Contribute to sales activities and work towards converting leads into clients, commissions will be given accordingly.
Requirements
• Currently pursuing Polytechnic, A Levels, or University education.
• Must be able to commit up to 10 to 24 weeks.
• Strong written communication skills with a keen interest in content creation.
• Eagerness to learn and apply SEO techniques.
• Optional: Coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a huge plus.
