Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and provide expert product knowledge to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Serving at in-house wine bar.
Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products, making recommendations based on their needs.
Merchandising: Ensure store displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and organized. Replenish shelves as needed and arrange products according to store guidelines.
Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments.
Stock Management: Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock deliveries. Perform stock rotation and ensure products are stored and displayed in an orderly manner.
Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including floor cleaning, dusting, and tidying up product displays.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to achieve daily sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
Product Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with the store’s product offerings, promotions, and seasonal trends in order to provide helpful and informed advice to customers.
Health and Safety: Follow all store safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales Abilities: Ability to engage with customers and drive sales through effective product recommendations.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain store presentation, including stock organization and product displays.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Math Skills: Competence in handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience: Previous retail experience is an advantage, but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided.
Education: Min. Diploma or equivalent preferred.
