OVERVIEW

This role will report to the VP of Sales and work closely with the product marketing and salesforce teams. He/She will design marketing and communications materials, and be the custodian of sales enablement content, ensuring the maintenance of the sales enablement platform.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support internal and external marketing, communications, and public relations strategies.

• Collaborate with Senior Management to enhance the company’s identity, culture, and visibility.

• Manage the production of high-quality print, electronic, web, and digital materials aligned with communication goals.

• Direct media relations, handling outreach, and responses to media inquiries.

• Build strong media connections and manage media coverage.

• Develop and evaluate marketing, communications, and PR programs.

• Promote outreach efforts and organize thought leadership and networking events.

• Foster relationships with key stakeholders and monitor customer satisfaction.

• Lead internal communications for Senior Management, including messaging for town halls and social media.

• Support corporate social responsibility activities.

• Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce) for alignment, tracking, and analysis.

• Skilled in utilizing sales enablement technologies, from content management systems to sales enablement platforms, ensuring the team has pratical insights.

• Proficient in interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to refine the sales enablement strategy through practical sales statistics.

• Capable of understanding and crafting efficient sales processes to impact the sales cycle positively.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields or equivalent job experience.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and sales operations in the logistics industry.

• Experience in writing press releases, presentations and negotiating with media.

• Experience in sales enablement platforms, CRM and visualization tools e.g. Salesforce, Tableau, Teams, Power Point, etc.

• An analytical mind to translate quantitative and qualitative data into outbound sales strategies.

• Self-motivated, energetic, resourceful, highly organized and influential leader and a team player.

• Excellent verbal & written skills and outstanding interpersonal skills are crucial to this role.

• Communication skills with Japanese expatriates and Japan headquarters.
