Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks related to financial, operational, compliance, and reputational aspects of client businesses.

• Develop risk matrices and scenarios to support data-driven decision-making.

2. China-Specific Risk Expertise:

• Provide deep insights into risks associated with the Chinese market, including regulatory, geopolitical, and cultural dynamics.

• Monitor changes in Chinese laws and policies and assess their impact on client operations.

3. Risk Mitigation Strategies:

• Design and implement robust risk management frameworks tailored to client needs.

• Recommend actionable strategies to minimize exposure to risks.

4. Client Engagement:

• Liaise with Chinese clients to understand their specific risk challenges and ensure tailored solutions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and long-term collaboration.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure clients’ compliance with local and international regulations, including data protection and corporate governance standards.

• Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

6. Team Collaboration and Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of risk analysts to deliver high-quality risk assessments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into broader business strategies.

7. Market Insights and Training:

• Stay updated on global and regional risk trends, particularly in China, and share insights with clients.

• Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams on risk awareness and mitigation.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management or a similar role, with a strong focus on the Chinese market.

• Skills:

• Proven expertise in risk assessment frameworks and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin (preferred).

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of China’s regulatory environment, economic landscape, and business culture.

• Availability: Willingness to travel regionally to meet client and project needs.
