The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing retail leasing opportunities at both the group level and within our shopping malls. As a Retail Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring the success of our retail tenants.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify retail trends, consumer behavior, and competition.
-Analyze market data to assess demand and supply for retail spaces in target areas.
- Identify and prospect potential retail tenants at the group level and within shopping malls.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential tenants.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and potential retail tenants.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure tenant satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Negotiate lease agreements that align with company objectives and financial targets.
- Ensure lease terms comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate financial viability of potential leasing deals, considering rent, tenant improvements, and other financial terms.
- Work closely with the finance team to create accurate financial models.
- Collaborate with construction, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of leasing agreements.
- Provide input on retail space design and layout to maximize tenant success.
- Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, market trends, and tenant performance.
- Present findings to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting retail leasing.
- Ensure lease agreements comply with all legal requirements.Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in retail leasing, preferably in a real estate development context.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of retail industry trends and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
