  • To be able to prepare and dismantle beverage set ups, including placement of bar counters In accordance with Banquet Event Orders.
  • To be knowledgeable and compliant with ‘OneMBS’ Banquets Standards
  • To be able to maintain storage areas with proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness. Rectify any cleanliness/organization deficiencies as and when required
  • To be able to prepare workstations & pantries, ensuring compliance to Banquet Event Orders.
  • To be able to respond, acknowledge and anticipate promptly to guests requests
  • To be able to ensure all assignments and closing duties are completed before signing out
  • Daily check and cleaning of work areas ensuring compliance with standards of cleanliness and order.
  • To be able to report any defects of equipment or work area to Manager on Duty
  • To have basic knowledge of documents required for each event (Consumption Reports, Summary)
  • To be able to conduct a detailed briefing of the event to casual labor assigned
  • To be able to maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide to local liquor laws, particular those prohibiting service to minor, intoxicated person
  • To be knowledgeable of all menu items, preparation method, ingredients, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices
Job RequirementsEducation & Certification
  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student.
  • Internship should contribute to school graduation requirements
Experience
  • No experience required as training will be provided
Other Prerequisites
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Basic math and computer skills proficiency required.
  • Well-versed in F&B Knowledge and safety.
  • Well-groomed, positive and professional disposition.
  • A team player and takes initiative to assist other Team Members when required
  • To be able and willing to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
