About the Role
A rapidly growing organization is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Sales Development Representatives (SDR) team in Asia. This leadership role focuses on driving pipeline growth, optimizing team performance, and collaborating across departments to achieve ambitious sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and support the current SDR team through onboarding, training, and mentorship.
- Train SDRs on end-to-end sales processes, including discovery calls, demos, and closing techniques.
- Mentor team members to improve prospecting strategies, account planning, and discovery efforts.
- Conduct group training sessions and team meetings to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Performance Management
- Drive activity levels to maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.
- Monitor and evaluate SDR performance to meet and exceed targets for accepted opportunities, revenue, and pipeline growth.
- Develop personalized growth plans for team members to ensure continuous development and career progression.
Strategic Partnerships
- Collaborate with sales managers to align on lead volumes and conversion goals.
- Partner with marketing to design and execute impactful campaigns tailored to the market needs.
Hiring and Expansion
Recruit and onboard standout candidates to grow the SDR team in line with business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- Proven track record managing and developing SDRs or similar roles in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of the sales development process, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Demonstrated ability to drive team performance and achieve pipeline growth targets.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to create and implement successful campaigns.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
- Singapore citizens or permanent residents (PR) are highly preferred.
