Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out implementation activities for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.
- Provides trouble shooting / continuous improvements to processes / systems.
- Maintain high GMP standard meeting the regulatory expectations such that the site is always inspection ready.
- Monitor and enforce compliance measures (including Data Integrity and safety) within their specific discipline to ensure inspection readiness of plant, as well as participate as an audit team member in the conduct of audits.
- Implementation of the GSK Production System (GPS) for Engineering department.
- Support on shutdown activities and on preventative plant maintenance for various systems at site.
- To support the development of facility master plan to ensure compliance to engineering standards, management of obsolescence and asset replacement.
- Monitor and manage the DCS/PLC systems to ensure constant and reliable support to the plant at all times so as to minimize disruption to the production process.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Good degree in Controls and Instrumentations - related progream
- Minimum 2 years of Controls experience in the process / pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Delta V system, especially batch process.
- Experience in SIL calculation and TMR system (Honeywell Safety Manager) will be added advantage.
- Experience in the Siemen PLC system will be added advantage.
- Good understanding of validation process
- Familiar and understanding of Global Engineering Standard (GES) and understanding of industrial standards.
- Basic commercial knowledge & project management skills
- Effective communication & Operational Excellence skills
