Position: Temporary, Sept/Oct 2024 to Apr/May 2025 Contract
Salary: $2,500 to $3,600 per month (Based on experience)
Location: Near Kent Ridge MRT
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee communications for Nursing, including creating editorial content, digital assets for social media and the website, and promotional materials for key events like Open House, Admissions, Commencement, and postgraduate programme launches.
Lead the editorial production and distribution of the newsletter, published thrice annually (April, August, December).
Manage requests for photography and videography related to Nursing.
Collaborate with the Nursing team to gather input and support communication tasks.
Track and manage the communications budget for Nursing initiatives.
Assist with press coverage to enhance Nursing's profile as a global leader in nursing education and research.
Contribute to the development and production of digital and social media content.
Monitor media coverage of Medicine and Nursing.
Handle any additional duties as assigned by supervisors or the Nursing team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A diploma or degree in media, corporate communications, or a related field is preferred.
Strong writing skills, particularly in corporate communications, including media relations, internal communications, and publications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Basic proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
Familiarity with WordPress and basic photography/videography skills are advantageous.
Prior experience in journalism, corporate communications, marketing, or the healthcare sector is a plus.
