Summary of Responsibilities:
Carry out instructions from the Team Leaders/Assistant Managers on the preparation of VIP amenities in VIP A or B restrooms
Conduct Preventive Maintenance cleaning in public areas, F&B outlets and heart of house
Be part of a team to assist periodic works, sofa extraction and spotting carpets as and when necessary
Report any damages of furniture, fixture and equipment to the team leader/Assistant Manager/Senior Manager
To change fused light bulbs in public areas, food & beverage outlets and heart of house
Report all maintenance deficiencies to the to the team leader/Assistant Manager/Senior Manager
Clean the assigned locations and restrooms in an 8 hour shift
Dust mop hard floor and follow up with mopping
Carry out furniture & fixture dusting and wiping
Responsible for the safety and security of assigned keys, mobile and equipment by correctly wearing them and using them according to procedures
Cleaning of colleagues’ toilets, staircases and service areas
Removing all trash and all items that should not be in service areas
Changing light bulbs and exit lights where necessary and removing all obstructions from corridors, exits and staircases
Responsible for the safety and security of assigned keys, mobile and equipment by correctly wearing them and using them according to procedures
Ensure that safe working practices are followed including emergency procedures.
Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
Carry out other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department.
Qualifications:
Minimum Primary 6 Education
Experience preferred but not necessary
Able to communicate in basic English
Interpersonal skills well developed with guests and colleagues
Physically prepared for the physically demanding role
Able to work independently, reliable, self-motivated
Technical skills for Housekeeping
Attention to detail especially cleanliness at guest areas
