Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to lead our Automation and Analytics initiatives within the Personal Systems (PS) Supply Planning team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to drive data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying automation solutions, building advanced analytical models, and managing a team of talented data professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Automation Initiatives: Oversee the development and implementation of automated workflows and processes using tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, or Blue Prism to streamline supply planning operations.
- Develop Advanced Analytics Solutions: Utilize AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and programming languages (Python, R) to create predictive models and enhance data-driven strategies.
- Design and Manage Power BI Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report creation, to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Data Management and Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports to support business decision-making. Manage large datasets efficiently using SQL and other database management tools.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various departments, including GSM, GPS, and Factory Ops, to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions that meet business objectives.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, automation, and AI/ML to continuously improve processes and solutions.
Education and Experience Required:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data analytics, AI/ML, or automation tools are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimally 10 years of work experience in a technology-driven environment, with a focus on data analytics, automation, and AI/ML.
- Demonstrated success in developing and deploying automation and AI/ML solutions that drive business value.
- Experience with platforms like SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Knowledge and Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report creation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, or Blue Prism.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
Analytical Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
- Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to handle and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Soft Skills:
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with supply chain management, particularly in supply planning and inventory optimization.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in supply chain analytics and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals.
