Description

Support and enhance risk management practices while assisting the Manager of Middle Office to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

This is 1 year-contract position

  • Generate and analyze daily P&L and exposure reports, addressing variances.
  • Collaborate with the front office to resolve issues and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist in creating and reconciling monthly MtM P&L reports.
  • Help prepare monthly P&L explanation and attribution reports.
  • Track credit and warehouse line utilization, assessing performance risks.
  • Ensure accuracy in credit applications and provide necessary support.
  • Review and confirm trade details for physical and futures trades.
  • Work with traders to monitor positions and maximize revenue.
  • Support pre-deal processes in accordance with risk policies.
  • Facilitate budgeting by producing P&L breakdowns and post-trade comparisons.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in middle office functions (P&L calculation, hedging, derivatives).
  • Familiar with LME metals futures markets, hedging, and position management.
  • Strong numerical skills for data analysis, including experience with SAP or CTRM.
  • Proven ability for accurate reconciliations and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, Functions, V-lookup); experience with trading systems like Entrade.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Logical thinker for analyzing P&L calculations.
