In-home Caregiving
Responsibilities and Duties
In-home caregiving typically includes some of the following duties :
- Assisting with personal care, which may include bathing, toileting, grooming/ dressing and feeding
- Providing mobility assistance, for example helping the client in and out of bed, onto and off a commode/ wheelchair
- Following a prescribed care plan, which may include assisting with simple exercises, administering medication, providing mental stimulation/ exercises, engaging client in conversation and providing companionship
- Escorting client to medical and other medical appointments, ensuring safety and punctuality/ compliance with pre-arranged medical appointments
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health condition, behaviour and needs
(Relevant experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. We are looking for people with the passion and heart to serve and care for the elderly and those in need of assistance.)
