A Building & Facility Executive oversees all aspects of building facility functions and guarantees the safety, maintenance, and functionality of all facilities under the Company. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising the facility staff.
Job duties & responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee operational processes of all Company facility areas assigned, including maintenance, safety and cleanliness
· Work within budgetary and compliance parameters to ensure upkeep of building facilities - Ensure legal compliance where needed
· Work closely and liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to implement cost-effective, simpler, and faster ways of carrying out facility upkeep, development and maintenance
· Manage and attend to all feedback and service requests in a timely manner · Lead the technicians and manage vendor services to achieve the required professional standards in day-to-day operation
· Raise PO and certify job completion/delivery undertaken by contractors/vendors
· Manage and update online systems - Initiate B&F activities for dormitories to ensure compliance with regulations and Company facilities' policies
· Assume any other facilities-related duties assigned by the management
Essential Skills and Experience:
A Diploma/Degree holder in Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline and preferably with three (3) years of relevant experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities as specified
Minimum 3 years of working experience in building & facilities management and is 'hands on' to ensure planning to execution success in building & facility initiatives undertaken
Team player, results-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful
Possess good interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
Ability to work on site in Tuas facility
