Key Responsibilities:
Specific precipitation
Liquid-liquid or Liquid/solid extraction
Simulation of scaled up process.
Design of continuous process based on the most interesting systems for the selective recovery of the metal ions of interest
Implementation of the process at pilot scale (~10 L/h or larger) to demonstrate its feasibility and to give first hints for cost analysis from the perspective of development at industrial size
Development, characterization and scale up of innovative hydrometallurgy-based separation processes from e-waste leaching solutions
Job Requirements:
PhD in chemical engineering / chemistry
Candidate with strong background on chemical separation processes, especially hydrometallurgy ones.
Good record of publications and IPs
Experience with lab set up or prototype development
Familiar with chemical elements characterization techniques (Spectrophotometry, ICP, FX…)
Familiar with Labview, python or process simulation software
Excellent command of oral and written English - for research purposes
