What a College Intern – APJ Government Affairs and Public Policy does at HP:

  • Track key policy and legislative developments for market priorities in APJ.
  • Develop a point of view (PoV) in key policy areas for APJ.
  • Research key policy trends and geopolitical changes, and draft memos on their implications for HP in APJ.
  • Develop solutions to increase efficiency in document sharing, reporting, and communications for the APJ GA&PP team.
  • Assist the APJ GA&PP team in planning and executing engagement activities for internal and external stakeholders.

Individuals who excel in this role at HP typically possess:

  • An undergraduate in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, or Business majors.
  • A keen interest in Public Policy, Government Affairs, International Relations, Geopolitical issues, or topics. An innovative approach with strong problem-solving skills and positive and eager to learn.
  • Good organizational and presentation skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office tools, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint applications. Hands-on experience with digital tools is a plus.
  • The ability to commit to a full-time internship in person from May to July 2025 (3 months).
