We are searching for a highly driven and motivated Assistant Manager, Revenue Management Technology Analyst with background in Operations Research, Operations Management, or experience in Airline Revenue Management!You will be part of the Revenue Management team and will play a key role in ensuring our revenue management systems are optimized and integrated with the latest industry technologies.
You will work closely with both external vendors and internal business units on systems integration, enhancements, project management, and research into cutting-edge advancements in airline pricing, demand forecasting, and seat inventory control.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage cross-functional projects related to revenue management system updates and implementations
Lead and coordinate revenue management system upgrades, enhancements, and work with IT and other internal teams to ensure seamless integration with other airline systems
Troubleshoot system issues and work with vendors to address performance or technical concerns
Drive communication between internal teams and external technology providers
Continuously monitor the performance of the revenue management system, identifying opportunities for improvement in forecasting accuracy, pricing, inventory allocation and processing efficiency
Analyze and configure system settings to optimize airline seat inventory control, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting
Provide training and support to the revenue management team to ensure the system is being utilized to its fullest potential
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in airline revenue management, pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and inventory control
Conduct research into new technologies, best practices, and innovations within the airline industry
Recommend and implement new tools or techniques that can drive revenue optimization
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a reputable education institution, preferably in Operations Research, Operations Management, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in airline revenue management, operations research, or systems analysis within the travel or transportation industry
A strong understanding of airline pricing, seat inventory control, demand forecasting, and related technology platforms
Experience in revenue management systems (e.g. PROS) and advanced pricing algorithms
Strong project management skills with good understanding of project planning, resource management, risk management, communication management, and quality management
Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
