We are seeking an energetic, collaborative and self-driven professional to join the Digital Supply Chain value team to play an active role in transformation journey to become the leading digital supply chain organization that leverages data, technology and processes to deliver end to end solutions enabling enterprise-wide collaboration, customer satisfaction, and seamless orchestration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Value Team Architect works closely with Product Line Leads, Product Managers and all squad members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes and designs.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Value Team Lead, Product Line Leads, Product Managers and Lead Engineers you will work on the following:

  • Understand

    • supply chain domain business use cases, opportunities and challenges

    • current industry technology trends and introduce best practices to Value Team

  • Create

    • architecture deliverables and artifacts relevant for accountable architecture domain(s)

  • Drive

    • the technology strategy for the Value Team that aligns with the business needs and enterprise architecture strategy

    • the notion of reusable architecture assets & standards such as current-state business/technology capability maps as well as future state planning roadmaps for the Value Team.

    • Tech Center strategy for Digital Supply Chain organization by boosting collaboration within Singapore and across all locations in Technology Center network

    • Our workforce pipeline in Value Team by leveraging company programs to onboard, mentor and upskill the leaders of the future in Technology Centers

  • Partner with

    • product teams to use agile, value-centric, business outcomes-oriented, and total cost of ownership-based principles to guide decision making

    • product line solution architects to develop a documented business, solution, information, and data architecture for supply chain

    • architecture community and leaders across the Value and Enabling Teams in the division focusing on data and analytics, manufacturing and quality systems

    • Enterprise Architecture team to drive the adoption of company architecture standards and blueprints

  • Manage

    • Architecture Governance within the Value Team

  • Train and mentor

    • technical delivery teams to understand, embrace, and successfully implement solutions following the architecture strategy

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Education

  • B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in a scientific or technical discipline (such as computer science, engineering, biology, chemistry, etc.)

Required Experience and Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences or similar industry, with demonstrated hands-on experience in solution architecture and information system designs

  • 10+ years of experience in leading development squads/ teams in global environment

  • Strong understanding of enterprise, solution and information architecture principles

  • Domain knowledge of technology for supply chain management including data and analytics platforms, ERP solutions, supply chain planning, warehousing, distribution and logistics

  • Experience in working closely with a range of business lines to identify business needs and opportunities

  • Experience with Agile ways of working, leading or working as part of scrum teams

  • Experience as a change agent of transformation to product model organization/ operating model

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders

  • Ability to perform under broad direction taking initiative and full responsibility for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation

  • Knowledge of current cloud trends and offerings, and extensive hands-on experience and strong expertise in cloud engineering

  • Certifications in AWS and/or modern data technologies
