This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled production operative to join a manufacturing environment in a leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) antenna products. The role would suit a motivated, individual looking to work as part of a friendly team.
The company is an industry leader in a specialist field with extensive experience and a well-established reputation, producing a range of bespoke and standard RF antenna products ranging from large volume products for global companies to small volume custom work for highly specific applications. The company manufactures products for a diverse range of industries and market sectors including public safety, defence, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, construction and consumer goods.
Job Objective:
· Assembly of RF products – experience in fitting connectors is essential
· Soldering cables to PCBs – experience essential
· Assisting with fulfilment of production orders
· Reading and understanding production instructions
· Assisting with quality test and inspection
· Assisting with stock inventory management
· Ensure that all procedures are adhered to guarantee a high quality product at all times and ensure products produced comply with quality standards.
· Liaising with other departments as required fulfilling orders and ensuring manufacturing proceeds according to the needs of the customers and the business.
· Assisting in maintaining the efficient operation of the manufacturing area.
· Assisting resolution of problems and implementing process improvements to gain efficiencies and reduce wastes (Time, process, material) and advising of any issues or improvements
· Assisting in maintaining a clean working environment, by cleaning work areas and shop floor at regular intervals.
· Maintaining safe working environments by following relevant H&S procedures, and advising of any issues or improvements.
· Helping with pick and pack if needed
· Undertake any reasonable ad hoc work as requested by the Site Manager
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
· Committed to safety, quality and productivity
· Soldering and connectors fitting experience is essential
· Knowledge how to use network analyser would be beneficial
· Good computer literacy and confident working with numbers – basic numeracy essential
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Attention to detail
· Flexibility to effectively switch between tasks
· Good time-keeping
Working Hours
Permanent full time position, 40 hours per week with 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)
Monday to Friday: 8:30-5:30pm

Contract length: 12 months, with a possibility turning it to full Time permanent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
