Job Summary

The Social Media team is looking for a dynamic and creative individual with a passion for all things social.

The team is responsible for engaging online communities while supporting multiple business units, ranging from the hotel, events and entertainment, F&B, ArtScience Museum, and more.

The Social Media Intern (SMI) will assist the Social Media team in a range of social and marketing initiatives for Marina Bay Sands. This involves creating engaging content across Marina Bay Sands’s diverse business units (ArtScience Museum, F&B, Entertainment, The Shoppes etc.) as well as being part of on-ground events and on-property shoots. The SMI will also be involved in managing our diverse online communities across all owned social media platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Ideate and develop impressive content for both paid and organic social – with a focus on short form videos for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

Support team leads in producing and project managing social media campaigns across business units.

Work with Team Leads on developing content calendars as required on a weekly and monthly basis.

Assist with researching and writing content adapted for different social channels.

Admin aiding collaboration with wider departments to create social-first content and property activations.

A research focus on Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed, Guides) and TikTok with short-form video-first mindset. Brand content may also extend to Facebook and China channels.

To actively engage with our online communities across all owned social media platforms through monitoring and responding to posts, comments and reviews.

Work with Team Leads to create and implement campaigns of the various business units from F&B to ArtScience Museum and

To support the wider team on ad-hoc events and projects which may include event coverage and producing event reports.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Preferably studying for a Diploma/Degree with interest in social/digital.
  • Proficient with editing short-form video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro would be an advantage.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with a passion for wordsmithery.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and adept at working cross-team to support the team – administration, calendar planning, coordinating.

Experience

  • Interest or experience in video shooting and editing, creating content across social via in-app, on mobile or on desktop.
  • Interest and experience in graphic design as well as video shooting and editing, creating content across social via in-app, on mobile or on desktop.
  • Interest/experience in SG/APAC/Global Marketing & Advertising and/or the Hospitality/F&B industry.
