Job Description

  • Lead and execute fundraising and capital management efforts as and when necessary, including preparing for and executing primary or secondary transactions as applicable to optimize the Company's growth

  • Prepare presentations and reports on strategic initiatives, financial performance, and growth opportunities for board meetings and investor updates

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with both potential investors and existing shareholders, articulating the company’s strategic vision, growth plans, and financial performance

  • Develop long-term financial models and scenario analyses to guide strategic decisions and support capital management activities

  • Help assess financial and operational readiness, refining investor communications, and coordinating with external advisors as necessary

  • Regularly assess industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform fundraising strategies and overall strategic planning

  • Work with IR team to develop and execute an effective investor relations strategy to build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors. Prepare and deliver compelling narratives around the company’s growth story, strategic vision, and key financial metrics

  • Work on end-to-end M&A and investment process, including identifying the priority areas for M&A, sourcing opportunities, overseeing market and financial due diligence, and coordinating a team carrying various streams of due diligence

  • Cultivate relationships with senior executives across the organization and across the tech and adjacent ecosystem with industry players, startups, and investors to be at the forefront of new developments

  • Train and mentor other members of the team and invest in enhancing existing processes, and recruiting and developing new team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from top university. MBA is preferred

  • Minimum 7 years of working experience. Work experience in corporate development/ banking / consulting is preferred

  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficient in developing effective presentation decks to C-levels

  • Excellent project management skills to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects

  • Fluid personality to effectively maneuver across various layers of internal and external stakeholders

  • Work effectively in dealing with ambiguity

  • High curiosity and hunger for innovation
