ALG has an opportunity as a Flight Crew Support Officer with our international airline client. This is a long-term contract position based in Singapore.
The candidate should be prepared to perform shift duties and be proficient in the use of PC, mobile devices and office software e.g. Word, Excel.
Prior experience in Operations in the airline industry / airport premises will be advantageous.
Considering that the staff may need to enter the transit area of the airport, he/she will be required to clear security checks.
The key responsibilities for the support staff will include:
Managing inventory (including issuing, returning and fault reporting) of mobile devices/electronic devices;
Housekeeping of devices and related accessories (including but not limited to cables, adaptors, charging carts);
Attending to crew queries and performing administrative duties such as data compilation/preparation of reports; and;
Handling device administration (including resetting and updating device/OS settings);
Collecting or arranging for the collection of mobile devices and related accessories from crew arriving into Singapore (at any terminal); and
Supporting the dissemination of eMemos and updated e-documents/notifications to crew.
During the lull periods, the staff may be called-upon to assist with the following:
Supporting the serviceability for kiosk PCs and printers (including fault reporting and replacing consumables); and
Other ad-hoc over-the-counter duties.
Requirements:
Shift work based on roster
Able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Proficient in MS Office
Must be PC literate
Good communication skills
