Job Scope:
Manage kitchen operations to uphold standards in food preparation.
Monitor food quality and quantity to maintain profit margins and budgets.
Oversee kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
Lead and cross-train staff for efficient daily operations.
Demonstrate Japanese culinary skills while coaching the team.
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu selections and recipe development.
Assume Head Chef responsibilities when needed.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Culinary with minimum 5 years of experience in Western cuisine.
Proven experience as Sous Chef.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
Must have relevant work experience in Western/ Japanese Cuisines (Teppanyaki).
