We catalyse the ideas of today, into the assets of tomorrow.What you will be working on:The Registries of Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties (PDPVP) supports IPOS' vision by building and maintaining a top-ranked IP regime in the world. We have set our ambition to be a Regime of the Future that is a showcase of IP regime and administration excellence with our IP, digital and data analytics expertise. We are looking for an individual who is keen to be a key contributor to achieving our ambition to join our team. Key Responsibilities You will: • Maintain a strong understanding of the inhouse IT system used in the management of patents, designs, and plant varieties protection applications. • Work closely with vendors and users of the IT system to implement system enhancements and rectify issues. • Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they are the most suitable option for meeting business requirements. Make recommendations to improve the proposed solutions. • Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and functionality of the solution. • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvements to optimise the overall user experience of the IT system. • Represent IPOS in international meetings centred on IT systems and data management topics. You will have the opportunity to network, identify collaboration opportunities, and bring back insights to enhance processes and systems within IPOS.What we are looking for:Write to us if you have/are: • 2 to 3 years of experience in managing inhouse IT systems. • Education qualifications preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Technology or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Able to write and communicate clearly, concisely and logically. • Able to work well independently and within a team.About Intellectual Property Office of Singapore:The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) is the national authority that registers and is responsible for the administration of IP rights in Singapore.
