  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Join us in this exciting journey to shape the future of Singapore's aquaculture industry.In this role, you will:
  • Plan and manage projects that support the sustainable expansion and intensification of aquaculture such as environmental monitoring and management of fish farming sites
  • Undertake activities related to aquaculture environmental data collection and interpretation
  • Identify knowledge or technology gaps related to monitoring and management of the aquaculture site conditions and develop solutions to address the gaps, including conduct of relevant R&D projects
  • Engage local and regional counterparts and specialists to address emerging issues related to the environmental sustainability of the aquaculture industry
  • Perform duties as required for the smooth implementation of the aquaculture environmental monitoring and management programmes
Our requirements:
  • Strong scientific or research background in aquaculture-related fields such as marine and environmental sciences, aquaculture engineering and digital technologies
  • Prior experience working in related fields will be an advantage
  • Proficient in computer software applications, good analytical skills and familiar with statistical methods
  • Prepared to work on weekends and after office hours when necessary
  • Able to work in the office and field/offshore environments, including onboard sea-going vessels
  • Team player with good writing, communication and interpersonal skills

The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health. The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
