- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of ball bearings at the final assembly stage to confirm compliance with quality specifications.
- Ensure all assembly processes align with established quality standards.
- Perform functional tests on assembled products to detect defects, malfunctions, or inconsistencies.
- Monitor the assembly process continuously to spot any deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report any non-conformance issues and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Keep detailed records of inspection results and corrective actions taken for traceability.
- Generate and submit quality control reports to supervisors for review.
- Perform quality inspections in other manufacturing areas (e.g., grinding, heat treatment) as needed to ensure consistency.
- Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs for accurate measurements and tolerances.
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear and maintaining strict cleanliness standards.
- A diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control, ideally within a manufacturing environment; experience in ball bearing or precision component manufacturing is advantageous.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and methods specific to ball bearing manufacturing (e.g., roundness testers, surface roughness testers) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and cleanroom protocols is an added advantage.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and following stringent cleanliness standards.
- Required to wear cleanroom attire, including gowns, gloves, and protective gear.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern to support manufacturing operations.
