Job description:
- To manage Logistic Sales and Business Development in Contract Logistics (CL).
- To deliver presentations towards customers in South East Asia and Australia, and initiate regular business trips for such sales activities.
- Promote existing customers’ retention, cross selling and upselling.
- To Build and lead a strong Business Development team, achieve both short-term/ long-term target (monthly/semi-annual revenue & profit performance review)
- To Establish national supply chain strategy, to ensure that Team grow quickly to become an absolute top tier logistics company in South East Asia and Australia.
- To Lead a team of int’l freight/express sales and Cooperate with procurement experts, drive the team to perform and deliver results.
- To closely monitor trends on rates of Contract Logistics (CL) and work with procurement experts to secure competitive price and stable space.
- To Achieve sales target, present the performance in reports and internal regular meetings (weekly/monthly/semi-annually).
- To manage/monitor sound Business Opportunity (Inventory) level of all Sales Team in South East Asia and Australia.
- To set up Go-To-Market strategy by region and make sure the sales activities go in line with the strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree above
- Major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
- 15 years+ experience in logistics
- 5years+ experience in New Business Development/Sales experience
- Leading/Directing/Managing experience in a Global forwarding company
- Experienced in large-scale, long-term contracts and global accounts
- Experienced in logistics IT system (FIS/WMS/TMS)
- Previous job promotion experience
- Logistics Business development & Sales
- Knowledge about overall logistics business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse)
- Leadership for sales
- Strong Contract Logistics (CL) network in South East Asia and Australia
- Able to work under pressure where needed
- Ability to lead negotiations, communicate, understand situations and respond in dedicated manner in all kinds of conditions
- MS Office Advance Level
- High-performing Team Building
