Senior Manager, SingHealth AI Office

The SingHealth AI Office brings together a multi-disciplinary team with the vision to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) for advancing academic medicine. The office has 4 key functions:

  1. Drive research and development
  2. Attract commercial partnerships
  3. Support AI analytics and governance
  4. Support AI education

Be part of a leading AI team here at the SingHealth AI Health Office and be involved in projects in the clinical and operational space. You will work with comprehensive patient data, including medical records and imaging, from a large and diverse patient population with various health conditions.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop commercialisation pathway and business models for AI projects
  • Actively collaborate and engage with technology translation offices and commercialisation partners to facilitate the translation of the Principal Investigator's (PI) technologies Assist to draft agreements, white papers, grants and reports for the Director and PIs
  • Support AI education initiatives that include AI Office events and seminars.
  • Support with generation of publicity materials for AI projects and initiatives, in collaboration with Group Communications.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety in all aspects of work.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of academia or industry experience in business development/ market access/ marketing/ technology transfer in either commercial, banking, technology and healthcare domains or related experience, with at least 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to do business model financial modelling will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in dealing with industrial partners and collaborators, and in negotiating and completing relevant agreements thereof (research collaboration agreements, licenses)
  • Ability to drive and strategise AI commercialisation activities in the clinical space.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure creative deal structures and develop conceptual solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute proactively as a team player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, Excel and related software.
