Job Description:
- Support the Business Account Management team to drive revenue in all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, customer inquiries, order processing, and post-sales support.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by providing prompt and accurate information, addressing queries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proposal and Quotation Preparation: create sales proposals and quotation preparation, with estimates ensuring accuracy, and lead time delivery conditions to meet customers’ expectations.
- Knowledge of project management activities including project planning, scheduling requirements and coordination with technical and production teams to meet customers’ requirements.
- After Sales support and working with the technical team for servicing customers’ requirements including post sales warranty support activities.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify potential sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Trade Shows and Events: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations to promote products and services.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining sales records, preparing sales documentation, reports, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings and appointments.
Education & Skills Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering or relevant fields is accepted.
- Experience: Have experience as Sales or Marketing Executive in Electrical or Mechanical based company or shipyard for at least 5 years. Project Management experience is crucial.
- Industry Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the marine or similar industry, including knowledge of similar products, services, market trends, and customer needs is useful.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Organization and Attention to Detail: Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues and sales challenges effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
